        What‘s your plan? PWM is okay, pulse width can be set. (0-100 about 1500 msec, no -100 to 100, firmware would only allow „forward“ on a plane ESC, if you need both rotational directions, you‘ll need a car ESC, this is airplane) This normally plugs into an RC Receiver and needs to power receiver and servo - so the ESC includes a BEC (will OUTput 5V to receiver or controller from battery, can your controller take that?) You might need an Opto ESC (no BEC power supply to receiver) or cut the negative wire of the servo connector to be save.
